The Sebringville Athletic Association that operates the Sebringville Community Centre, was founded in 1945 and was originally a ball diamond. Baseball was very sought after during that time and it wasn’t uncommon to have 1200+ people attending the game, from all over Perth County! In the 1960’s, the S.A.A. wanted to build community hockey rink and that they did. The current location of the S.A.A. Community Centre was once the former hockey rink. Today the S.A.A has a hall that holds up to 245 people and an outdoor pavilion that holds 70 people. They also have two softball diamonds, play ground, walkway and parkland.
The S.A.A. has always been a fully private voluntary organization and has benefited the hamlet of Sebringville greatly! We hope to be here for years to come. We thank all who have supported us over the last 74 years! Here’s to many more!
